The Apartment

This attractive apartment is ideal for living in and for renting.  It is rented all summer 2013 until the 15th September and if you decided to buy you can take over this ready made business. Viewings are taking place in between rentals. There is a Free car park a little further along the road.

A wrought iron stairway takes you to the first floor; the front door is tall and imposing. This (Victorian era) apartment is full of charm from the minute you walk in the door. Guests that visit are always thrilled with what they see.

Walking into to a long hallway you can see straight into the sitting room on your left, with high ceilings and imposing shuttered windows, leading out to the balcony. To the right of the hallway is the entrance to the second bathroom (all newly refurbished) and the outside utility area with a washing machine and the gas boiler.

As you walk up the hall you will arrive at a very attractive Kitchen and Dining area. Contains a large refrigerator, modern gas cooker (gas natural which is much more economical).

The kitchen has plenty of room to eat at the table and is unusually large for a Spanish apartment.

Through the sitting room Bedroom 1(double) is on your right and bedroom 2 (double) on your left, Bedroom 1 has a dressing room and an en suite shower room.

Electric (remote control) ceiling fans in all the rooms. A very cool apartment, for hot summer days.

The balcony at the front runs the entire length of the building, so services the bedrooms as well as the sitting room, as you look down you can see the short walk to the sea at the end of the road, to your right a local meeting point for x pats a friendly local bar.

The Location

This is a very special apartment in a very pretty area, half an hour drive to the historic town of Girona and a similar distance to Girona Airport and the railway station at Caldes de Malavella where you can catch a train to Barcelona 1hr.

Sant Feliu is well situated to see many other places in The Costa Brava, or inland to wonderful mountain locations.

Travelling the other way north, we come to the beautiful San Pol Beach and further on the typically Costa Brava Sa Conca beach.  Then on into Platja d’Aro, which is a smart bustling resort town with designer shops and attractive cafés and eateries.

Sant Feliu is full of charm and the whole town has a slightly French atmosphere. Every morning there is a vegetable market, but on Sunday there is a larger market and the town is alive and buzzing.

In August Sant Feliu has a wonderful fiesta and firework display.

During the year many activities are going on, the blessing of the animals at the monastery, the famous giants, as seen pictured on this site, the coréfoc which to any northern European is a firework madness never seen before.

The social life is good throughout the year, with many friendly bars and restaurants from which to choose.
