Private Hotels and Hospitality Venues

Where to stay or host an Event?

This won’t be as difficult as you think if you come to Brava Connect.

(There are three hotels so far, all completely different so please scroll down)

Our clients vary so much from house hunters, looking for a reasonably priced place to stay, as they won’t be in the hotel enough to really appreciate it.  Or those people who are looking for high quality hotels but maybe prefer something smaller and more personal. You may need a hotel near the sea, or a rural retreat. We’re not pushing the big chains, we’d rather promote hotels with a difference, maybe their style, or just the fact that they are family run and friendly.

Or those of you seeking the perfect venue for a function, perhaps a wedding, or a corporate event. These can be of all sizes from more modern to rustic.

So don’t worry if the hotel you require is not showing, just let us know what you want and we will do our best to find it

Hotel Number 1

Our first hotel ticks all the boxes mentioned above. It’s right by this really beautiful beach close to Sant Feliu de Guixols and Platja d’Aro, not on the sea front but only a few steps away. Nearby are some lovely local restaurants. An idyllic walk around the coast will take you to yet another spectacular beach. Some of their apartments have a sea view. The hotel is family run to a very high standard, the owners are from the Netherlands.

In the winter season they offer fantastic rates for very stylish rooms and apartments. They have 44 rooms; 40 in the building in front of the reception and 4 in the reception building (there is no elevator in the reception building), also they have 13 apartments (9 x 6-persons, 2 x 8-persons and 2 penthouses for 2 persons each). This attractive hotel is located in a good position to explore a wide area of the Costa Brava.  It is also a perfect venue for parties, weddings or small corporate hospitality events. We feel very confident that you will be delighted with your stay here and will want to come back.

If you take an apartment during the winter, the superb weekly rate includes all gas and electricity, and towel and linen change once weekly. These apartments are very nicely designed and comfortable.

Hotel Number 2

A Friendly Hotel With Value For Money Accommodation

Our second hotel is without a doubt probably one of the best for value for money in the area. Located just behind the famous Casino, in the lovely market town of Sant Feliu de Guixols, in central Costa Brava, close to beach and very attractive small streets full of bars and restaurants. Buses to other areas are in easy reach.  Transport from Girona airport is also possible.

This is a small, family friendly 18 bedroom hotel, if you are visiting the area either for house hunting, or to play golf or other sports or just to take a well earned break, but you are looking for value for money, look no further! Paolo the owner is a friendly Italian, originating from the area of Lake Como, he speaks excellent English.  His prices are superb and the room charges include breakfast and tax.  There is also room here for a group booking, where you could use the restaurant and main room for an intimate meeting venue, taking over the hotel for your private use.

Paolo is a chef and so at breakfast time, you can sample his homemade cakes, or even enjoy an English breakfast, he provides 2 fried eggs and 2 rashers of (Spanish) bacon, or an omelet etc, for the same price as the traditional continental breakfast, or, you may prefer the cold meat and cheese, German style breakfast. Whatever you choose I know you won’t be disappointed.

The rooms are clean and simple all with en-suite bathrooms. and each one has a small balcony, Each room has a TV with at least 2 English channels.  The front of the hotel is overlooking the street, which is small with very little traffic, the back rooms which are less sunny are great for summer, they have a better view, looking down on the hotels very attractive patio area, which is very private, but perfect for a quiet drink after a busy day, and onto good views of the back of the town. Inside there is a very comfortable bar. and a pleasant sitting room with TV, as well as the restaurant where you will have your breakfast.  On the side of the hotel is a top terrace, which is perfect for doing a bit more sunbathing in the summer.

Although the hotel has not got a sea view (reflected in the price), the beach and sea front are only one street away.  There is a free car park nearby, but it can be busy in the height of summer and there is another one which charges 9€ per day, which saves worrying about parking meters.

Hotel Number 3

An Unusual and Special Location

A Boutique Hotel For People With Style

This amazing little hotel and restaurant will never be found unless you know where to look.  I would say unlike the normal hotels which I would promote to visitors. This amazing hotel which can only be described as boutique, is ideal for a night away for those of us already living here in the Costa Brava, maybe for your anniversary or a birthday etc.  This is not a typical Spanish hotel, so if you are living in the South of Spain why not come up here for a change.

This one won’t be found easily, unless like me you stumble across it. I was entertaining some Americans and we just looked around a corner in a medieval village and there was ‘Heaven’.  At first I saw a restaurant, and this is no normal restaurant, the food is very high quality.  They have a Menu Del Dia and an A La Carte in the evening.

On a sunny day the courtyard area is gorgeous. full of trees and flowers. A rustic return back to the past to an atmosphere not to be missed.

When you go inside it gets even more fascinating.  If you like minimalism this may not be for you, but if you like history, Victoriana etc look no further. In the reception area is a old Victorian pram hanging on the wall, and all around, you will find collectors items, especially collectible children’s toy kitchens and toys in general, It is seriously; a historian’s dream.

As you go into the hotel itself, you are transported into another world.  Unlike most people who display antiquities this is unbelievable, the lovely collection is dotted about and becomes an art experience, but so tastefully put together that one can only gasp with pleasure.

The bedrooms are priced so well, that at first I couldn’t believe what one would get for ones money.  They are absolutely gorgeous and no expense has been spared.  Large impressive beds, and antique furniture take you back into history. If you are looking for romance and relaxation I can highly recommend this exciting little place, and little it is as it only has 5 double bedrooms, but all are En Suite and although you have been whisked back in time, you won’t be going without your home comforts all have:

  • Telephone
  • Central Heating
  • Satellite TV
  • Internet Connection
